An unco-operative person had to be forcefully removed from a burning home in Saskatoon on Saturday morning, the Saskatoon Fire Department says.
Firefighters were called to the 300 block of Avenue S South shortly before 7 a.m. Saturday with reports of a structure fire.
When crews arrived, they found a small fire burning on the home’s exterior, but were met by a person described as “unco-operative and threatening,” who refused to leave the house, according to a news release from the department.
Saskatoon were called to remove the person, allowing fire crews to continue their work.
No injuries were reported as a result of the fire, and an investigator is working to determine its cause and assess the damage to the home, the department said.
